Children and Nursery

As we teach our children about the teachings of Jesus, we emphasize the Golden Rule: “love your neighbor as yourself” and “treat others as you would like to be treated.” We realize how important it is for children to learn the Golden Rule. When children recognize their worth and value, they can see the worth and value in their friends and treat them accordingly. Come join us Sunday mornings at 10:00 as we learn and express ourselves creatively!

Our Classes are geared for Uni-Babes & Tots (0-5), Uni-Kids (6-10), and Uni-Teens (11-13).

“We hold children lovingly in our hearts and are open to and receiving all that we need to make a thriving youth program happen!”

What Unity Teaches Our Children

1. God is love, the only true power, always present in everyone and everything.

2. We are all children of God, created by God in God’s image for the purpose of expressing divine love.

3. Jesus Christ is God’s perfect expression of divine love for humankind, expressed through a man.

4. The same Spirit that lives in Jesus Christ lives in each one of us, making God’s power and love available to us always.

5. We learn about the powerful Spirit of God’s love when we talk to God in prayer, when listen to God in silent meditation, and when we study God’s laws in the Bible.

6. We make use of God’s power by living in harmony.
