Prayer Shawl Ministry

No experience necessary! The purpose of prayer shawls is to provide a visual symbol of the surrounding protection and healing nature of the prayers behind them. The shawls are created with knitting or crochet techniques. Instructions are provided, and a limited amount of material is available for those who are just learning this wonderful craft.

The prayer shawl ministry meets the first Saturday of every month. You are all invited to join us in Fellowship Hall on Saturday, May 5th from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Lunch will be provided.

For more information, to donate materials or supplies, or for those who know of a need for a prayer shawl, please e-mail Patty Bossa at pbjpens@cox.net

Prayer Shawl Ministry News

Our Prayer Shawl Ministry, headed by Patty Bossa, visited Century Care Center and distributed prayer shawls to residents.

I just wanted to thank you one more time. The residents are nuts about their shawls and throws. Some of them are never seen without theirs. This lady is particularly fond of hers. She guards it as if it was gold.

Thank you again.
